On December 1, Nigerian singer Davido received an honor as an “Outstanding Georgia Citizen” during a ceremony at the Georgia General Assembly. Davido posted a video capturing the moment when lawmakers gave him a standing ovation upon his recognition. He expressed gratitude, stating, “This morning, I attended the U.S. State of Georgia General Assembly meeting with the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia State Senate to be acknowledged as an ‘Outstanding Georgia Citizen’… God is good.”
